Ankita Sharma is excited about the show Ishq Aj Kal. This show is basically a spin off Ishq Shubhan Allah. She was expecting this script to be very t.v. like but it is not. She is glad to be the part of the show. Her character in this how is different from the previous t.v. shows she have done.

Ankita Sharma’s character name is Aaliya Jaffri. She is the cousin sister of Kabir aka Adnan Khan from Ishq Subhan Allah. There is past where her father died and she feels that there is hidden truth to it. Kabir suggests her to go out and find about it. This is how her journey starts.

Actor says that the character in this web series is much more different then the role from Lajwanti and Ek Shringar- Swabhiman. She adds, “I have never done anything like this. As the title says, it is Ishq Aaj Kal. So, the romantic angle is certainly there. But there is much more in the story. It is purely a thriller. The genre is very different; it has a non-linear story-line moving to and fro from the past to the present and vice versa.”

She feels that it is perfect to make her debut in this web series. Unlike t.v. there is no deadlines to complete the scene. Overall the character is beautiful and shoot procedure is all film-like. She is waiting for the response from the audience.
