Sumbul Touqueer starrer Imlie that airs on Star Plus has been grabbing headlines lately for various reasons. Recently, the leads of the show Sumbul and Fahman who play Imlie and Aryan respectively decided to bid adieu. The show will soon take a generation leap wherein after that the new leads to enter the show as of know and if the source to be believed the story will be revolving around Chinni.

According to some leading portals, the makers have decided to bag Megha Chakraborty and Ankit Siwach to play the leads in the upcoming sequence. However when we got in touch with Ankit to get some clarity about it, he had something more to share with us, “I did read news about me getting roped for the show, but I haven’t got callback from the production about being a part of Imlie. I tested for the particular role 2 or 3 days back. I’m planning to get in touch with them and see what is the status.” He further added, “Honestly I would love to be a part of the show as Imlie has been garnering some impressive responses till date.”
