“I did not envision myself in Bollywood so soon”-Aliya Hamdi, a popular influencer talks about her debut

Aliya Hamdi who is a popular social media influencer is soon going to make her Bollywood debut. We got in touch with her and she told us about her journey from an influencer to now a Bollywood debutant.

Aliya how does it feel to be debuting in Bollywood?

It is great to be entering Bollywood. It feels amazing to be acting with great actors.

From being a social media influencer to a Bollywood debut, did you have any struggles to enter showbiz?

Honestly, I did not envision myself in Bollywood so soon. I was creating content for social media and suddenly was spotted by someone who asked me to audition. Life really takes turns as I was not going for auditions or being reached out to but got it from people who saw me and loved me.

I even auditioned for Yash raj and I think it’s all destined someplace.

Did you ever think that you would enter Bollywood while you were growing up?

Well, my main goal was to enter the Miss Universe pageant and I did many ads or gigs for them like vandilal ice cream as a child artist. When the Miss Universe opportunity came I was very heavy. So I ended up as a social media influencer and people loved that.

How did your parents react to this news?

Actually, my mother had an experience where we were out together and somebody recognized me. She asked me what are you doing and then I told her that he follows me on Instagram. my parents are actually a little orthodox type to posting pictures and all so they told me please don’t do this eventually my time came and I’m here.

Can you spill some tea and tell us which movie are you going to be in?

It will be Rahul Roy’s production. We will be shooting on foreign soil and currently, workshops are going on. Soon the shooting will begin.
