‘It’s like coming back home’- In conversation with Sai Ketan Rao talking about his upcoming show on Star Plus!!

Sai Ketan Rao is a popular name on television and is known as Raghav from Mehendi hai Rachnewali. The actor is back again on Star Plus with another untitled show and gave some spoilers about his show.

How does it feel that you are back on Starplus with another show?

It feels amazing…I feel like I’m back home to my fans after a long time.

Can you give us a few spoilers about the show or the character?

The show’s name is yet to be decided and talking about my character its name is Ronak. There is another name to it which I’m a little hesitant to reveal but it’s a good story about this character.

The concept of your new show, is it similar to your previous show Mehendi hai Rachne Wali, or different?

It’s whole a lot different from what you saw in my previous show Mehendi hai Rachne Wali.

How does it feel to work again with Sandiip Sikcant? Is he a tough producer or a chilled-out one?

Well during this year I was quite involved in something or the other. My family business and I released my few albums and also did some of the content on OTT. Later I went to Kashmir and there I met Sandiip sir and he offered me this role. Since we had worked in Mehendi and had a good repo with him so yes that’s how I got the part. But the story doesn’t end here I had to give auditions and mock shoots then wait for the channel to approve and this is how I was finalized.

So apart from your show did you have anything coming up now this year’s end?

Yes, I have been approached for some content for OTT, and Telegu films but I’m willing to do more on television and later try for something else.

Anything you want to say to your fans.

I think my fans will be very happy for me to come back to them and the show coming portrays me in a whole lot different way. I’m sure they are going to love it.
